Have you ever noticed that there are 2 Sir Stamford Raffles' statues?

Yes there are 2 of them in Singapore. If you have missed out on them, here they are...

The white one... it is near Clark Quay but at the opposite bank.

Funnily, i couldn't find an explanation to it as both statues symbolises the landing site which Sir Stamford Raffles stepped foot on Singapore. So which one is the real site?

and also, how can one figure out or accurately predict where Raffles actually landed?
